All non-public, personal information exchanged between Client and advisor shall be treated as confidential and shall not be disclosed to third parties, except as requested by the Client or as required by the law.

As an independent fee-only financial planning firm, Halcyon Financial Planning, LLC (“Halcyon”) is committed to safeguarding the confidential information of all current, former and potential clients.
All personal information provided to Halcyon is held in strict confidence. This includes personal information we collect from you in connection with services (or potential services) Halcyon offers. We use your information to help you meet personal financial goals, while guarding against real or perceived infringements of your rights of privacy.
Categories of non-public personal information we collect from clients depends upon the scope of the engagement. Typically, these include information about: 1) your personal finances and insurance, 2) your personal goals and health information – to the extent needed for the financial planning process, 3) transactions between you and third parties and 4) information from consumer reporting agencies.
Halcyon never discloses information to non-affiliated third parties unless required by law or with your consent. We do not anticipate doing so in the future. If Halcyon does change firm policy, we are prohibited under law from doing so without advising you first.
Access to your information is limited. Only employees and agents who have business or professional reasons for knowing your information are allowed access. Unaffiliated third parties that require access to your personal information, including financial service companies, consultants and auditors, are bound by strict confidentiality in our agreements with them; we expect them to keep your information private.
